Current projects and results of generous giving

Thanks to the generous support of the individuals, groups and foundations who share and fulfill the goals we have for the residents at Life Enriching Communities, we have been able to fund a variety of beneficial projects.

Current Project

Twin Lakes Community Center to Honor Shirley M. Davies

Twin Lakes Shirley M. Davis Auditorium - artists rendition.

A place where the Twin Lakes community can come together to learn, celebrate, exchange and entertain has been a dream for many years. Thanks to a generous gift from former resident Shirley M. Davies, we are taking the first  steps to making the community center at Twin Lakes a reality.

Jim Mayer, Executive Director at Twin Lakes, said the multi-purpose community center will accommodate approximately 300 people in a large gathering and can be subdivided for smaller presentations or parties. The room will feature a stage, several TVs located throughout, and state-of-the-art technology for presentations, movies and other forms of entertainment.

The most innovative technologies will be used so the sound will be ideal for residents and guests. A full-service kitchen adjoining the community center will accommodate large or small formal dinners. “Our focus is not only for future residents of Twin Lakes, but to enhance the amenities of our current community,” said Mr. Mayer.

Costs for the Shirley M. Davies Community Center total approximately $1.5 million. Mrs. Davies generously bequeathed a lead donation of $500,000 for creation of the community center. Shirley’s dream will come to fruition, however, Twin Lakes is still in need of $1 million for this project.

Foundation Success

Twin Towers Chapel

Twin Towers Chapel

The historic Wilson Chapel at Twin Towers has undergone extensive renovation thanks to the generosity of our donors.

The restoration of this 100+ year old building, included both interior and exterior renovations, marrying modern touches with historic design to truly create a blessed Chapel for the future.
