The O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation has blessed Life Enriching Communities with continued generous gifts towards our Benevolent Care programs. General Electric Employee Community Service Fund for Twin Towers Virtual Reality Program

One innovative and unique program currently offered at Twin Towers is Virtual Reality (VR) for Memory Support providing residents with immersive virtual environment technology.  This program enhances resident’s experiences, combats memory loss, and encourages them to live life to the fullest.  We thank the General Electric Employee Community Service Fund for providing funding to purchase equipment to allow our Twin Towers residents access to the Virtual Reality for Memory Support experience. Josephine S. Russell Charitable Trust through PNC, Trustee for AquaTherapy

We thank the Josephine S. Russell Charitable Trust for providing funding to purchase 8 underwater stationary bicycles for the Aquatic Therapy Program at Twin Towers and Twin Lakes. Studies have shown that underwater exercise provides a vast array of benefits for older adults. It increases joint flexibility, muscle strength, reduces and helps improve. Sutphin Family Foundation for Twin Lakes Wellness Program

We thank the Sutphin Family Foundation for providing funding to purchase three important pieces of equipment to expand the scope of our Twin Lakes Wellness Program and allow more residents to participate in exercise. One of the main components to aging well is to get as much regular exercise as possible to improve balance, increase stamina, reduce joint inflammation, and generally improve one’s quality of life.
