Every gift counts
Through generous gifts, our donors have made a powerful statement and impacted hundreds of local lives. Investments support the mission of Life Enriching Communities, and help make us a leader in continuing care.
55 residents were able to stay in their homes in our communities, instead of being asked to leave due to a lack of financial resources. That’s 1 in 15 residents who benefited from the Benevolent Care Fund.
91 Twin Towers and Twin Lakes Assisted Living residents on Medicaid were able to receive the highest quality nursing care thanks to donations made to the General Fund.
Support & Service
5 chaplains were able to serve the residents, resident family members and associates of Twin Towers and Twin Lakes. They provided daily services, pastoral counseling, Bible studies, funeral services, and hospital visits. All made possible by the Pastoral Care Fund.
8 underwater Aqua Bikes were purchased to allow residents, rehab patients, and members of the community, to exercise and rehab in the water. This puts less strain on joints and removes the fear of falling for those with balance issues. Thank you to the Sutphin Family Foundation for the grant that purchased this equipment.
2 associates were sent to A Matter of Balance Training in support of the LEC Falls Prevention Program, thanks to a grant from The John and Agnes Brockschmidt Charitable Fund.
6 smart TVs were purchased for nurses and aids to use as a tool to engage our long-term nursing and rehab residents in social and educational activities. Thanks to a grant received from the General Electric Employee Community Service Fund.
