We thank the Sutphin Family Foundation for providing funding to purchase equipment for our on campus wellness program.
One of the main components to aging well is to get as much regular exercise as possible. This helps to improve balance, increase stamina, reduce joint inflammation, and generally improve one’s quality of life.
The following equipment will expand the scope of our Twin Lakes Wellness Program and allow more residents to participate in exercise.
- NuStep Elliptical Machine for residents of Shepherd Court – our skilled nursing neighborhood.
- Biodex MedBike for residents of Walden Court – our memory support neighborhood.
- Underwater treadmill for residents and rehabilitation patients from the community to use in the warm water therapy pool.
Our Associates work every day to make the highest quality of care and exercise accessible, safe, and enjoyable for residents and rehab patients. We are grateful that the Sutphin Family Foundation supports our wellness program.
