  • How Mental Health Professionals, Nurses, and Care Partners can identify the various Ethical
    Dilemmas that will emerge with a growing population living with dementia.
  • Discuss and apply healthcare professionals’ codes of ethics to situations with persons with
    dementia.
  • Cover the advantages of having Advanced Directives, Living Wills, and Legal Documents
    signed prior to the loss of decision-making capacity.

About Your Presenter:

Teresa Youngstrom is a seasoned RN, Dementia Specialist, and a PAC Certified Independent Trainer. Her passion and experience with Dementia have led her to start her own business, “A Better Approach to Memory Care” where she provides Staff Training, Family Consultations, and Educational Workshops for families and professionals.
