In this season of Advent, may you find time and space to reflect on what you are waiting for. There are things we all wait for, whether for ourselves, our families, or the greater path of humankind. Advent is an invitation to enter into an attitude of anticipation as followers of Jesus, for we are waiting for the fulfillment of God’s grand plan to set all things right and make all things new. So I invite you to make space in this season of parties, concerts, gift exchanges, shopping, decorating, pageants, and more, to be still and consider what it is we are truly waiting for as followers of that baby born so long ago. Who did he become? What path did he set us on? Where is he leading us now? And what happens next?
